Our MindStep program is the first of its kind in Australia – a phone-based mental health coaching program using low-intensity cognitive behavioural therapy (LiCBT) to help your people manage the symptoms of their anxiety or depression. It focuses specifically on supporting people after they’ve been discharged from hospital.
Around 1 in 5 Australians of working age (16–85 years) are living with a mental health condition. A challenge of this size demands a different kind of thinking, so we looked to a successful NHS program in the UK, which has treated over 1 million people and helped 45,000 people return to work since 2015.
The program uses low-intensity cognitive behavioural therapy (LiCBT), which is a talking therapy that can help individuals manage their problems by changing the way they think and behave. It’s most commonly used to treat anxiety and depression.
Back home, we partnered with Flinders University to adapt the model for the Australian community and have been helping people manage their symptoms ever since.
We’re proud that our clinical outcomes meet the benchmark outcomes set by the UK’s IAPT model, and even prouder that after-program reports and client feedback are overwhelmingly positive.
We can provide personalised support where your people need it. Choose the right program to suit your people:
MindStep Coaching: This program is delivered over the phone by specially trained mental health coaches and has been designed to complement the care customers receive from their GP, psychologist or psychiatrist.
MindStep Online: Give individuals access to an online LiCBT platform, with a mental health coach available for additional motivation or support if needed.
Combined services: Combine MindStep with other services, such as HealthierMe, to offer integrated healthcare focused on your people’s physical, social and mental wellbeing.
